The ePTFE fabric is a polytetrafluoroethylene microporous membrane laminated with ordinary fabric through a special process. The fabric integrates the excellent waterproof and moisture permeability of the ePTFE membrane, so that sweat vapor can quickly penetrate the fabric, and the human body will not feel boring, so it is the top waterproof and breathable material at this stage.

 

Production Process:

Water repellent treatment of fabric → corona discharge → round mesh glue → unwinding of PTFE film, corona treatment, coating → drying and hot pressing compound → PTFE film surface treatment → (gluing → compound lining →) trimming → rolling → Inspection → packaging → finished product. The fabric water-repellent finishing can be carried out by a one-sided liquid feeding method after compounding as needed. The use of corona treatment is very effective for improving the bonding strength of the composite.

 

After finishing:

the ePTFE membrane has the characteristics of high hydrophobicity, heat stability, excellent chemical resistance, and insulation, etc. It is laminated with fabrics to make Zhiteng laminated waterproof and breathable fabrics by point bonding. Its new-generation product is a composite fabric composed of the original hydrophobic multi-micro ePTFE membrane and organic fluorine oil-repellent finishing after durable water-repellent finishing. It allows the permeation of water vapor molecules and the selective polymer membrane that can prevent the passage of liquid substances. In addition, it can overcome the body fat pollution and the washing surfactant to reduce the water resistance, thereby improving the waterproof moisture permeability and durability, and correspondingly increasing the resistance to hydrostatic pressure.
