(1) Making the original yarn (or filament) into a tube with capacity loop, which can be used for warping, weft winding, knitting, shuttleless loom weft feeding or bleaching and dyeing. In terms of yarn capacity, the large package yarn can only accommodate 29.2 tex (20 inches) of medium and special cotton yarn about 2500 m. If the yarn is directly used in warping or weft feeding on looms, the shutdown time will be too long due to frequent pipe change, which will not meet the technological requirements and is not conducive to improving production efficiency. The package capacity of the bobbin is greatly increased, and the winding length of the bobbin of medium and special yarn can reach about 100,000 meters.
(2) Remove some defects, impurities and improve yarn quality. The raw yarn transported from the spinning mill usually has more appearance defects. When it passes through the clearing device on the winding machine, it can remove the impurity defects such as fluff, dust, weak yarn and coarse knot on the raw yarn. This can not only improve the appearance quality of the fabric, but also increase its average strength by eliminating the weak links in the yarn. And it reduces the end breakage in the back process of yarn.
