Asphalt concrete mixing equipment refers to equipment for drying, heating, sieving and metering sand and gravel materials, adding appropriate amount of filler (stone powder), and uniformly mixing the hot asphalt liquid into asphalt mixture according to a certain mixing ratio.
The categories are divided according to the process flow: intermittent and continuous type with forced stirring, and drum type with continuous stirring. According to its installation, it can be divided into fixed and mobile. All the former units are fixedly installed on the site, and are often used in places where large-scale engineering is concentrated. The latter is large and medium-sized. The whole machine components are installed on several special flatbed trailers, which are hauled to the construction site and assembled and erected. They are mostly used for road construction projects. Small ones are installed on a special flatbed trailer. Transfer at any time, mostly used for road maintenance works.

LB batch asphalt concrete mixing equipment

The intermittent asphalt concrete mixing equipment is constructed as shown.

The supply of sand and gravel and the drying and heating are carried out continuously, and the mixing with the hot asphalt liquid is batchwise intermittent. The sand and gravel materials are respectively stored in the respective hoppers of the cold silo, and after being initially metered according to the volume, the belt conveyor is sent to the drying cylinder for drying and heating. The inner wall of the drying cylinder has a plurality of long blades, the cylinder is inclined slightly toward the discharge, and the burner is equipped at the discharge end. When the cylinder rotates, the sand and gravel material is continuously lifted and scattered by the long blades, and moves forward, comes into contact with the flame sprayed by the burner, is dried and heated, and then discharged out of the cylinder, and then sent by the bucket elevator. The sieve is sieved and stored in each hopper of the hot silo, and then discharged into the weighing hopper with the electronic scale according to the prescribed mixing ratio. At the same time, the stone powder is transported and weighed by the conveyor, and the hot asphalt liquid is pumped and metered by the asphalt pump. After accurately metering various materials, the hot sand stone and stone powder are first discharged into a stirrer and dry mixed, and then the hot asphalt liquid is sprayed on the hot material to stir. The agitator is a two-shaft forced type, the two shafts are reversely rotated, and each pair has a plurality of pairs of stirring blades. After the mixture is thoroughly stirred, the bottom discharge door is opened to discharge. The exhaust gas and dust are recovered through the pipeline and discharged through the dust removal device. The main feature of the continuous asphalt concrete mixing equipment is that the hot sand stone and the hot asphalt liquid are continuously metered and supplied, and are continuously stirred and discharged. The agitator is long and is equipped with a plurality of pairs of stirring blades installed in a spiral direction, one end is continuously fed, and the other end is continuously discharged. They are usually equipped with automatic control devices, which can realize automatic production and high productivity, but it is difficult to accurately control.

Kenya MDHB drum type asphalt concrete mixing equipment

The drum type asphalt concrete mixing equipment was developed in the 1970s, and is characterized in that the drying, heating and mixing of the sand materials are continuously performed in one drum. The burner is mounted in the center of the feed end of the drum and heated in the stream. The hot asphalt liquid is sprayed in the first half of the drum, and is discharged with the hot sand stone after the self-dropping stirring, which simplifies the process and reduces the dust flying. The unloaded finished product is stored in the finished product warehouse for use. In recent years, this mixing equipment has applied electronic technology and new testing instruments, which can realize production automation and strict control of the mix ratio to ensure the quality of finished products.
