Filtering issues:

How is the filtration process of pressed rapeseed oil and peanut oil filtered?

What impurities are mainly filtered?

What filtering equipment is suitable?

Process flow:

Before proposing a grease filtration solution, look at the production process of rapeseed oil and peanut oil.

Pressed rapeseed oil refining first-grade edible oil production process: filtering of crude oil → alkali refining → washing → decoloring → deodorizing → refined oil

Pressed rapeseed oil refining secondary cooking oil production process: crude oil → filtration → hydration dephosphorization → vacuum drying → refined oil.

Hot pressing peanut oil process: shelling → cooking → pressing → crude oil → filtration → refined oil.

From the above rapeseed oil pressing process and peanut oil pressing process, we can know that a filtration process is required in the process. This filtering process is to filter out plant impurities in edible oil. During the pressing process, fine plant-based particles are mixed in the edible oil. There are many methods to remove impurities in edible oil, including natural precipitation method and filter filtration method.

Filtration solution:

  1. Natural precipitation method: Now in the countryside, the countryside squeezes out the peanut oil. Because the amount of edible oil is not large enough to meet their own needs, generally no filter is used to filter out impurities in the oil. They often use precipitation As long as the precipitation time, the large particles will sink to the bottom. People take the clean oil out, and then they get rid of the impurities.
  2. Filter filtration method: This is for large-scale edible oil production enterprises, these companies produce a large amount of edible oil, often calculated in tons. Therefore, the natural precipitation method cannot meet the market demand. To speed up efficiency and quality, filters must be used to handle impurities. There are many choices in the selection of filters. They can be bag filters, precision filters, or bag filters and precision filters combined to form a filtration system.

From the perspective of reducing filtration costs, a filter system consisting of a bag filter and a precision filter should be selected as the best choice. This filtering system has the effects of both pre-filtration and precision filtration. The bag filter is used as a pre-filtration for edible oil filtration, and the latter precision filter is used for fine filtration. It is not necessary to solve the problem multiple times, which can greatly reduce the filtration cost and improve the overall filtration efficiency.
