Disadvantages are: ① high cost; ② the use range is limited by the vapor pressure of hot or volatile liquids, materials with low boiling points or volatile materials at operating temperatures cannot be filtered; ③ it is difficult to handle slurry with high solid content and large particle characteristics , and the filter cake has a moisture content of about 30%, and rarely less than 10%. Mainly used in chemical and food industries.
Internal filter surface rotary vacuum filter
It is suitable for filtering suspensions with uneven thickness of solid particles, no stirring device is needed, the cost of the machine is low, and it can adapt to changes in feed concentration. If it is required to operate at high temperatures, it is easy to take insulation measures. The disadvantage is that the surface of the drum cannot be fully utilized, and the filter cake needs a certain viscosity, otherwise it will fall off easily, resulting in a decrease in vacuum and a change in the feed flow rate; it is difficult to replace the filter cloth.
